Woman Charged in February Crash
Saratoga Springs — A Saratoga Springs woman has been charged with a February crash that left one man in critical condition.
Police say that 53-year-old Deborah Britton was following a vehicle too closely when she attempted to pass it on route 29 just east of Saratoga Springs on February 6th.
Britton failed to pass the truck driven by 41-year-old Conan O’Rourke forcing him of the roadway.
O’Rourke was ejected from his vehicle. He is still recovering from his injuries.
Britton is charged with assault, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, following too closely, unreasonable speed and unsafe passing. She will be in court in August.
