Village Employee Arrested for Making Work Accident Up
Lake George — A former Lake George Village employee who claimed workers compensation after he fell in a manhole while on the job has been arrested for making the story up.
40-year-old Aaron Aiken of Glens Falls has been charged with Insurance Fraud after he claimed he was injured on the job and filed for disability.
Inconsistencies in his story led to an investigation in which Aiken was videotaped moving heavy items, doing yard work and engaging in other physical activity that he claimed he was unable to do.
He was charged and released.
