Slocum Innocent of Triple Murder?
Fort Edward — Defense attorneys for a White Creek man say that they have evidence that will prove their client is innocent in the killing of his family.
The Post-Star says that a DNA report shows that blood found on the shirt of Matthew Slocum’s girlfriend Loretta Colegrove belonged to his mother.
Slocum is accused of killing his mother, stepfather and step brother last year before burning down their home.
Police have said that Slocum confessed to the murders, but has since denied making those remarks.
Jury selection is expected to begin on February 27th.
