Police Search for Shooting Suspect
Ticonderoga — A manhunt is continuing Monday for a Washington County man whose son is serving time for a deadly 2009 DWI crash.
Police say 45-year-old Jimmy Joe St. Andrews of Putnam fired into a group of people outside an apartment on Montcalm Street in Ticonderoga Friday evening. The shooting happened following a domestic incident.
Three bullets struck a man in the abdomen and both feet. The victim remains hospitalized in stable condition.
St. Andrews stood trial for providing alcohol to his son Dustin St. Andrews who crashed his car in 2009 killing two female passengers.
Police say St. Andrews is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Call the police if you have any information.
