Off-Duty Trooper Assaulted in Saratoga Springs
Saratoga Springs — A Schenectady man is facing charges for allegedly assaulting a off duty NYS trooper.
Saratoga Springs Police say that Kevin Press, of Schenectady, was allegedly being verbally abusive and disorderly to other people near Café Lena on Phila Street Saturday night. That’s when an off-duty NYS Trooper intervened. Press then allegedly assaulted the trooper and resisted arrest when officers arrived.
He was charged with felony assault, residing arrest and will be arraigned Tuesday morning.
