New York Redistricting Plans
Albany — New York’s Legislature has announced changes to the state’s Assembly and state senate districts.
The move will see local lawmakers add and lose communities that they once served.
Four election districts will also be added in the New York City and Albany area.
Governor Andrew Cuomo says he will veto lines not drawn by an independent commission. These were drawn by the legislative majorities.
