Logger Killed in Kingsbury
Kingsbury — A Warrensburg logger has been killed after a large log fell on top of him.
66 year old Maurice DeMars was cutting logs in Kingsbury Wednesday afternoon when the log, which was more than 2 feet wide, rolled off a pile and pinned him underneath.
He was cutting logs by himself when the incident occurred. Loggers working nearby discovered him.
The Washington County Sheriff office says that he could have been trapped for more than an hour before he was found. DeMars was pronounced dead.
