Indictment Handed Down in Baby Assault
Glens Falls — The Glens Falls man accused of physically and sexually assaulting a 7-week-old baby has been indicted on nine criminal charges.
A Grand Jury has handed down an indictment against 33-year-old David Cook following the March 2nd assault at this home on Smith Street.
Cook has been charged with four felony charges of Assault, aggravated sexual abuse, and strangulation. He is also facing four misdemeanors and is accused of torturing an animal.
Cook will be arraigned this Friday in Warren County Court.
The child’s mother may also be charged for failing to get prompt medical attention for her daughter.
