Depite No Ice, Winter Carnival to Kick-Off
Lake George — despite a lack of ice on Lake George winter carnival will kick off this weekend.
The month long event has been forced to cancel some events and move others after the unseasonably mild winter has stopped the Queen of Lakes from freezing.
None the less the 51st annual event will get underway Saturday with outhouse races and a chili cook-off.
